Crossvallia specializes in IT infrastructure, cloud computing, and security, providing IT services, experience and know-how for IT clients across the globe, most notably HAProxy Technologies. 

HAProxy is the world’s fastest and most widely used software load balancer. This is due to an amazing team developing its core, written entirely in C. This is where you come in.

As part of our development team, you'll have the opportunity to collaborate with colleagues and teams covering a range of technologies and applications, including the core HAProxy team in Paris. Our primary stack includes C, Go, Python, Vue.js, Elasticsearch and more, but your focus will be on enhancing HAProxy in C-related projects. 

Your role:
• Participate in designing, planning and creating standalone programs or integrated components (and their documentation) for Open Source and/or commercial use within and around the Open Source HAProxy Load Balancer software
• Improve and maintain existing and future programs or integrated components within a tightly-knit team of expert developers
• Collaborate and contribute in a multicultural and multinational environment, with participants in different time-zones and from different parts of the world
• Provide technical input and participate in brainstorming sessions, both with your team and the community

Knowledge, skills, and abilities we are looking for: 
• You have at least five years of programming experience, and at least three of which are in C
• Since the rest of your team has it, Golang experience is a big plus
• All of our work is Linux-based, so experience with the system is highly valued
• You know your way around shell, HTTP and TCP/IP a bit better than the average developer 
• Git experience is a must, while cloud environment experience is a bonus
• Written and verbal fluency in English is mandatory, while French is a nice bonus
